Kathy Mishoe named S.C. Adult Education ESL Teacher of the Year

Kathy Mishoe, a teacher at the Socastee Adult Education Center, was named the S.C. Adult Education ESL (English Speakers of other Languages) Teacher of the Year at the state Adult Education conference. Over 80 teachers were nominated for the award, one from each district in the state. Mishoe is the second winner of this award in as many years. Tammy Humphreys, an ESL teacher at the North Myrtle Beach Adult Education Center, received the award last year.
