Students honored for perfect attendance

The Horry County Board of Education recognized 16 students for having perfect attendance at its October 20 Board meeting.  The students were honored for not having missed a single day of school in grades 1-5, 1-8, or 1-11. The students attended school for 900, 1,440 or 1,980 days, respectively, without an absence.

The 2008 perfect attendance honorees are:

Grades 1-5

Wesley Toler Ford, Conway Middle School; Kayla JaNiece Alston, St. James Middle School; Alexander Thomas Weshefsky and Austin James Elkins, Ocean Bay Middle School; Summer Leanne Blair, Green Sea Floyds High School; and Hanna LaSha Glover, Black Water Middle School.

Grades 1-8

Xuxa Xaviera Cribbs, Green Sea Floyds High School; Zackary Kenneth Sherman, Loris Middle School; Jeffrey Lathaddues Stevenson, North Myrtle Beach High School; and Victoria Brittany Lyn Watts, Myrtle Beach Middle School;

Grades 1-11

Ashlee Lynn Conrad, Charles Edward Grace, and Angela Renee Webb, Myrtle Beach High School; Colton James Monahan, Conway High School; Kevin Daniel Kern, Scholars Academy/Conway High School; and Chantal Nicole Stevenson, North Myrtle Beach High School.
