Schools

The district is made up of 48 schools within nine attendance areas. Each area consists of a high school and the elementary and middle schools that feed into it. The district has 26 elementary schools, eleven middle schools, nine high schools, two career centers, a Scholars Academy, an Early College High School and an alternative school.

Scholars Academy
A partnership between HCS and Coastal Carolina University, the Scholars Academy provides quality education for advanced learners.
