2007-08 Ocean Bay Middle School Teacher of the Year
Mary Beth Roach
Mary Beth graduated from Elon College with a Business Administration major and worked in the business field for nine years. In 1997, she attended Coastal Carolina University (Critical Needs Program) in Business Education. She has taught for ten years, six and a half of those were at Aynor Conway Career Center, and two and a half years were at Carolina Forest Middle School. Currently she teaches Finance (7th grade), Business Computer Applications (8th grade), and Leadership (8th grade). She is married to Mark Roach and they have two children, Casey and Brandon. We congratulate her on her achievements and we are very proud to announce her as our Teacher of the Year!
