Early Dismissal - Friday, August 29
Due to anticipated Labor Day weekend traffic, ECH students will be dismissed one hour early on Friday.  Early College classes will conclude at 1:20 pm.

Base High School Registration
Early College students should complete registration at their base high schools.  Districtwide registration is being held on Tuesday, August 5.  Check the website for your base high school to determine specific information needed and the times for registration.

ECH School Start 8:00 am for 2008-09
The ECH school day will be from 8:00 am - 2:20 pm for the coming school year.
The earlier start matches the Early College schedule with the HGTC schedule. This will provide more opportunities for ECH students to schedule college classes when ready.

Summer Reading Initiative
Reading practice helps Early College students maintain or increase Lexile scores.  The ECH Summer Reading Program is one way to encourage our students to read for pleasure and increase independent reading skills.  We encourage every student to read at least one book this summer. Click here for Summer Reading Letter.  Click here for Summer Reading forms. 

Summer Reading Initiative Blog is now available!  Students will be able to blog about the books they read with other students and teachers from all over the district.   Click here for the Summer Reading Initiative Blog.   Posts related to fiction and nonfiction texts will help our students and teacher engage in conversations about their texts.
