Media Center at ATA

Mr. Ron Cowan, Media Specialist, has been working to build the selections of books, periodicals, and reference collections for student and staff use.

The newest addition "PLAYAWAYS"
  "Playaways" is a self-playing, preloaded digital audio book smaller than an ipod.
It come with ear buds and a lanyard. We KNOW you will love them!!!

Policies/Rules:

  Each student coming to the media center should have an individual pass with the following information: full name, date, departure time from class, assignment to be completed in the media center, and the teacher's signature. When the students enter the media area they must sign in and out when they leave.

FOOD AND DRINKS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE MEDIA CENTER!!!

Book Loan Policy

     The loan period for regular circulation books is 10 school days. Reference books may not be checked out. Patrons with overdue books will be assessed a 10 cents per school day fine. Books returned without the date due sticker will result in a 50 cents fine. Lost or damaged items must be paid for. The replacement cost will be charged for lost books. Partrons with overdue books or fines will not be able to check out books until the book is returned and a payment is made on the balance owed.

Copy/Printing Fees

Photocopies and computer printing fees will be 10 cents per page, and 25 cents per page for color copies. Items printed from computers are picked up and paid for at the circulation desk.

Printing fees will not apply to class assignments or copies made from reference books.
