The mission of the Academy for Technology and Academics is to provide an integrated, rigorous academic and career major instructional focus which will enable students to be self-directed learners, to gain and refine employability skills, and to enter education and career pathways that allow them to participate as successful and contributing members of a global society.
Senior Awards Program and Banquet Seniors and their guests attended a Banquet and Awards Ceremony to honor their achievements while students at the Academy for Technology and Academics. The evening was an enjoyable time.
Career & Technology Celebration Recently, the ATA family hosted for the third year the Career and Technology Celebration. Directed by Mrs. Terri Causey and the students in Marketing Communications, business supporters of ATA were invited along with parents, students, and staff.
Veteran's Day Celebration Students and staff at ATA honored our country's Veterans by holding school assemblies throughout the day and serving a luncheon to special guests.
Black History Month Celebration Students in various majors have enjoyed hearing professionals within their career choices speak.
SLED Visit ATA Students enjoyed a visit from SLED, thanks to Officer Hall.
