Adult Education

Mission Statement:

To ensure that each student is provided with educational opportunities and is prepared to reach his/her full potential through supportive student-centered teaching and learning.

– Horry County Schools Adult Education program is providing GED preparation and computer literacy instruction from June 9 through July 24. Classes will be conducted Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until Noon at the Myrtle Beach Family Learning Center at 3101 Oak Street, next to Pepper Geddings Recreation Center. The Horry County Schools adult education program offers the following opportunities:

• GED preparation
• High school diploma completion
• Reading and math skills improvement,
• HSAP, high school exit exam preparation,
• ASVAB preparation,
• English as a Second Language (ESL),
• Computer literacy, and
• WorkKeys. Earn your, "National Career Readiness Certificate".
