Carolina Forest High School awarded $10,000 grant for fine arts program

Carolina Forest High School is one of 50 schools throughout the United States to be awarded a $10,000 grant through Ashley Judd and the Goody's Good Deeds for Schools grant program. These 50 schools will each receive a $10,000 grant for projects that range from after-school enrichment programs to musical instruments. Carolina Forest High School will use its award to purchase new risers and equipment for its fine arts program.

Nationally, more than 1,000 schools applied for the grants, from which 350 were named finalists and 50 were chosen to receive awards.
