2007 School Health Services Award presented to Horry County Schools

Horry County Schools was the presented 2007 Annual School Health Services Award by the South Carolina Association of School Nurses at a November 15 statewide conference held in Charleston.

The Annual School Health Services Award is presented by the South Carolina Association of School Nurses to honor an individual or organization whose contributions or accomplishments in the field of school health have made a positive impact on the lives of school age children. HCS was presented the award for its long-standing support as host of the yearly conference since 2001.  Since its inception, the conference has grown from 100 to 260 school nurses in attendance. The support of HCS makes it possible for SCASN to offer registration at a very affordable price at a time when most school nurses are on summer break and able to attend.
