Horry County Schools will host its Annual Teacher Job Fair on Saturday, March 1, at the Academy for Arts, Science and Technology. Innovative and certified teachers are invited to attend to meet with administrators and learn more about teaching opportunities throughout the district. School principals will be on-site to conduct interviews with qualified applicants. To be considered for a teaching position, applicants must have a complete application on file in Human Resources that includes the following: an Horry County Schools’ online application; three professional references; official college transcripts; a valid teaching certificate; and an applicant disclosure and consent form. All candidates are asked to pre-register by February 28 and receive confirmation to attend the job fair. Late registration will be available on-site the day of the fair. Pre-registered applicants may enter the job fair from 8:30 – 9 a.m. From 9 - 11 a.m., applicants will have the opportunity to meet with principals and schedule interviews.
