October 17, 2007 Twenty-one Horry County students auditioned and were selected for the South Carolina Music Educators Association All-Region Orchestra. They are: Kerwin Johnson from Conway High; Wesley Trentacosta and Stephen Jones from Forestbrook Middle; Emi Soutome, Mary Elizabeth Holton, Karissa O'Keefe, Courtney Pendleton, Nathan Salvo, Logan Donevant, Rodrigo Landa, Rebecca Usry, and Zoe Witkowski from Myrtle Beach High; William Laney and Brittany Porter from North Myrtle Beach High; Elizabeth Peterson from St. James High; Melissa Murray, Sterling Tyler, Audrey Polinski, Francesca Martel, and Tommy Cassidy from Socastee High; and Denry Christy from the Scholars Academy. The clinic will be held at Hilton Head High School on November 16th and 17th. |
