Green Sea Floyds High School’s report card rating revised by Department of Education after appeal
March 22, 2007

Green Sea Floyds High School was among 17 schools and one district across the state to have received revised ratings as a result of the State Department of Education's school report card appeal process. The school had previously been assigned a Good Improvement rating in the fall of 2006. The new corrected rating is Excellent. The school’s Absolute rating of Good remains unchanged.

Revisions resulted from appeals made to the agency by schools and districts that believed incorrect data had been used in the original report card calculations.  Reasons for making changes included inaccurate, contradictory or incomplete information initially supplied by the school districts that was corrected by the December 1 appeal deadline.
