Scardaccione selected for STAR seminar

Deborah Scardaccione, a mathematics teacher at North Myrtle Beach Middle School, has been selected as one of 10 teachers in South Carolina to participate in the spring session of Strategies for Teacher Advancement & Renewal, STAR, sponsored by the Foundation for Professional Development and the Palmetto State Teachers Association.
 
STAR is a program to recognize and reward outstanding veteran South Carolina teachers who have taught school for five or more years. Scardaccione will receive an all-expense paid professional development seminar on Seabrook Island in March.
